Pixelmon Mod 1.12.2, 1.10.2 – Download Minecraft Mod Now

The original Pixelmon mod was launched in 2013 and allowed users to catch, train, and breed Pokemon as well as construct items such as Pokeballs and Pokemon-themed furniture similar to that found in Generation III and subsequent Pokemon games.

Owing to copyright concerns with Nintendo, Game Freak, and The Pokemon Company, the mod had to take a break due to infringement on the part of the copyright holders. Nonetheless, the original has been resurrected alongside sequels Pixelmon Generations and Pixelmon Reforged.

Pixelmon Mod

Pixelmon’s creators have done their best to recreate the Pokemon experience in Minecraft as accurately as possible. Along with the Pokemon themselves, things like Pokeballs, TMs, held items, and medications such as Potions, activities such as breeding, training, and trade have all been added.

What is Pixelmon?

Pixelmon incorporates several parts of the Pokémon franchise into Minecraft, including the creatures themselves, battles, trade, and breeding.  Pixelmon also includes new items like Poké Balls and TMs, as well as new resources like bauxite ore and Apricorns, as well as new decorative blocks like seats and clocks.

Pixelmon tries to replicate the mechanics of the Pokémon games as nearly as possible for the majority of these elements, including battle systems that match the Generation 8 Pokémon games. However, several features of Pixelmon are unique and differ from the games, such as the breeding mechanic, which requires Pokémon to breed in an appropriate setting.

Pixelmon does not encounter Pokémon using the “random encounter” method (e.g., long grass, caves). Instead, they appear organically in Overworld, where a player can fight them. When Pixelmon is installed, conventional Minecraft mobs are disabled and do not spawn by default, but they can be enabled by changing Pixelmon’s config file.

Poké Balls may be purchased for PokéDollars in Poké Marts (which spawn in towns), much like they can in the games. Poké Balls, on the other hand, maybe made if the player has obtained Apricorns and iron.

Pixelmon is built up in such a way that players and servers can define their own goals, whether it’s to complete the Pokédex, win player-vs-player battles, or do something completely else. In Pixelmon, there is no set progression for Gyms, but servers can opt to add this feature by utilizing NPC Trainers or users as Gym Leaders, and Badges are available if servers want to use them as achievement markers.

Wild Pokemon wander the Pixelmon realms, where they can be captured or battled. Minecraft players won’t have to worry about random encounters in tall grass and caverns, as they would in the original Pokemon games, because wild Pokemon traverse the globe at their leisure.

There are also boss Pokemon, such as Legendary Pokemon, Mega-Evolved Pokemon, and Gigantamax forms, which can be located and battled, with their levels typically far greater than the rank-and-file Pokemon that players will encounter.

  • The majority of items, such as medicine, held objects, and TMs, can be obtained from a variety of places: Creating certain objects.
  • In the Pokémon games, PokéLoot chests serve the same purpose as item-filled Poké Balls.
  • Defeating boss Pokémon, as well as Mega Evolved wild Pokémon that are always several levels above the player’s Pokémon.
  • The Pickup Ability, which collects items similarly to the Pokémon games.
  • Poké Marts are shops that offer Poké Balls.
  • Pixelmon has Pokemarts and Pokedollars, which are familiar from the original games.
  • In the main games, instead of item-filled Pokeballs, Pixelmon has introduced “Pokeloot Chests,” which resemble Minecraft’s loot chests but contain Pokemon-themed stuff.
  • Pixelmon can be played in both single-player and multiplayer modes.
  • However multiplayer is recommended for sharing the Pokemon experience with other trainers all around the world or just with your close friends.
  • There’s even a player forum where you may talk about the mods with other players. With all of these tools, it almost feels like Nintendo never took down the Pixelmon mod in the first place.

There are a few things to keep in mind in the Pixelmon Minecraft universe, such as the fact that regular mobs are deactivated by default. This is most likely owing to the Pokemon’s incompatibility with ordinary NPCs or hostile mobs.

Pixelmon’s settings, on the other hand, maybe fine-tuned to a player’s preferences with a little know-how. The mod itself may be obtained at Pixelmonmod.com, where gamers can find a wealth of tools to help them with both the installation and enjoyment of the game.

With the Pixelmon mod, Minecraft lovers who also enjoy the Pokemon series may have the best of both worlds.
